I love mixing it up. Feminine blouses and ripped jeans, Doc Martins or boots and a floral dress. The combining of two different looks creates a point of difference. I love florals and feminine pieces with an edge.
This pair is a mix of my matt tortoiseshell resin and Tough Love, an artwork I painted on the eve of my daughters 14th birthday. Hopefully without sounding 'artsy' my pieces literally come from deep within and it always astounds me when I look back on reflection, what has come out and what I was processing internally at that time. This piece is an expression of both our journeys individually and together. A contemporary and gutsy piece with feministic aspects This is an original Art work and the link can be found here: https://www.kimbadesign.com.au/collections/art/products/tough-love-original-76cm-x-82cm
My earrings are incredibly light and easy to wear.
I spend quite a lot of time in the studio experimenting with resin, my prints and paint and was so excited to discover this beautiful way of exploring painting techniques with resin. These earrings are hand poured, hand cut, sanded and buffed to create a beautiful and a very unique pair of earrings.
